Hello Nomads! (updated 12/16/2021)
As things evolve and change in the tourism industry we are doing our best to do the same within our business. We are committed to moving forward in a way that is sustainable and safe for both the company, our travelers and the many people we work with around the world.
We continue to remain optimistic that travel will be a safe reality once again but are of course staying on top of new global developments regarding Covid. Our 2022 trip line-up is ready to go.
There will be a few new protocols in place once trips start running again. Please keep in mind all this may change depending on what happens with vaccines and the global situation.
We are requiring all travelers to be fully vaccinate at the time of travel and provide a copy of your Covid vaccination.
We will follow all travel guidelines associated with each country we visit. IE- covid test proof upon entry, masks in public areas, registration forms etc.
As of now the USA is requiring a negative Covid test upon entry whether or not you have the vaccine. This will be arranged during the trip, 72 hours before we leave. The cost of the test is the responsibility of the traveler.
If you would like to reserve a spot on one of our departures but are unsure of what will happen with your funds please review our updated refund policy HERE. Please note- we also understand that every situation is different and are more than willing to work with our travelers on an individual basis.
As this situation is fluid and ever changing we will continue to stay in contact with any travelers currently registered on any of our trips.
The World Health Organization offers comprehensive Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Advice for the public. They offer recommendations on how to protect yourself against the new coronavirus and when and how to use masks.
There is also a Myth-Busters page specifically designed to provide answers to some commonly misunderstood issues around the COVID-19 outbreak.
https://reopen.europa.eu/en is a great resource for travel restriction information and updates in the EU.
While some countries are indeed “opening up” I plead you to take a more ethical, considerate approach if planning to travel and ask some questions before you go.
How will this trip affect your health and the health of the community you are visiting?
Are the facilities you are using taking the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe?
Are you willing and able to follow whatever the local protocols are?
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out~
