Booking terms and refunds

Please take the time to read our booking terms and conditions prior to booking with Purposeful Nomad. 

FULL PAYMENT DEADLINE:

The remaining balance should be paid in full 90 days prior to departure. If you are booking within 90 days of departure, then full payment is required at the time of booking. 

MINIMUM ENROLLMENT: 

Generally for most departures minimum enrollment is 8 people. If minimum enrollment is not met 90 days prior to departure date then the trip may be cancelled in which full payment including deposit will be refunded. There may be exceptions to this and that is determined on a per-trip basis. Departures are rarely cancelled less than 90 days before departure. 

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY: (COVID related cancellation policy below)

*Should The Client choose to withdraw from the program, unfortunately the DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE 

*A cancellation request must be received in writing by email from The Client. Verbal notice will not serve as a valid cancellation.  

*Cancellation by The Client up to 90 days prior to departure will result in full reimbursement MINUS deposit

*Cancellation by The Client less than 90 days will result in no refund.

*Purposeful Nomad is not responsible for cancellations due to medical emergencies. 

*In the event that a trip is cancelled due to inadequate enrollment, Purposeful Nomad is not responsible for reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets. While we do our absolute best to fill each trip, we highly recommend you buy refundable airline tickets or wait until departure is confirmed to book your airfare. 

*When a tour is cancelled by Purposeful Nomad before the agreed date of departure for any reason other than Force Majeure or the fault of The Client, The Client can either:

  1. Transfer enrollment to another departure and pay any difference if value is greater or receive a refund if value is lower. 

  2. Receive a full refund of all money

*Purposeful Nomad reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time, and it is The Client’s responsibility to be familiar with them.

CANCELLATION OF TRIPS DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE: CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF PURPOSEFUL NOMAD ie COVID

cancellation due to global circumstances beyond the control of Purposeful Nomad such as war, pandemic, political instability, natural disasters and unavoidable catastrophes where it is seen as highly unsafe to operate any trips; 

*If you have booked a tour that is cancelled due to Force Majeure 30 days or less from departure:

You will receive a credit of 100% of money paid in a travel credit for another departure within the current or next calendar year.
