This unforgettable 14 day odyssey will take you to from the far reaches of the Serengeti National Park, through plains filled with heart-stopping animals and into the heart of the of the culture and community of this majestic African nation.

We start in Arusha at the School for St Jude, whose free education initiatives are providing a much needed solution to the often over-crowded and under-funded public schools. Our trip will weave through the north-central part of Tanzania staying at some unique accommodations completely immersed in nature. Our local guides and hand-picked safari company will provide careful insight into this diverse culture and landscape.

Day 1: Arrival

You will be met at the airport and be transferred to our hotel for the night.

Day 2: St. Jude Engagement

During the next few days we will see how this incredible organization has transformed many lives in this area.

Day 3: St. Jude Engagement

See the kids in action in both their classrooms, boarding homes and nearby villages.  

Day 4: Tarangire National Park

Heading west we hope to see this parks most famous inhabitants: elephants and baobab trees.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast we do a game drive into Lake Manyara. This lush, green jungle is different than most of the safaris we will be seeing.                                                                              

Day 6: Maasai Culture

En route to the central part of the Serengeti NP we will visit a traditional village of Maasai women.

Day 7: Central Serengeti NP

Option today for a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti!! We will then spend the day exploring the park.

Day 8: Northern Serengeti NP

The next few days will be tracking the great migration of the wildebeest near the Mara river.

Day 9: Migration

There will be time to realize and take in this vast and beautiful area.

Day 10: Migration

Last chance to get some photos of the 1.5 million wildebeests!

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater

We hit the road to reach the rim of the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera.

Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater

We’l descend into the crater floor and hope to see one of the parks more elusive creatures, the leopard!

Day 13: Return to Arusha & Shopping

As we make our way back to Arusha we will stop by a local coffee farm where we will meet the farmers and see how it is grown here.

Day 14: Departures

Today you will be picked up from the lodge and transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight out
