Carlie is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher who’s influence draws from the foundations of Hatha Yoga. Her teaching is a fusion of styles, with an emphasis of being deeply present in the body, pranayama and aligning breath with movement. With wellness as a focus of her practice, she enjoys helping people nourish their bodies, bringing her passion for delicious, healthy cooking. Carlie grew up learning about and preparing food with her mother and finds incredible joy in sharing what she knows and loves with her students.
Julia Cumes is a South African-born photographer based in Massachusetts. She's passionate about capturing authentic moments of interaction and sharing intimate stories and extraordinary moments that would otherwise be accessible to only a few. She's particularly invested in exploring stories about the struggles women and girls face as well as wildlife conservation and has spent much of her career working on these kinds of projects in Africa and East Asia.
Sambhali Trust is a non-profit charitable organization based in Jodhpur, whose focus is the development and empowerment of women and girls in Rajasthan. They provide underprivileged Rajasthani women and girls with an education in English, Hindi and Math, as well as training in vocational and social skills, to support them in developing confidence and self-esteem and help them work towards financial independence.
